Temari Learning Helps - Prepared Maris.
While making the Temari
in
its whole is the goal, sometimes a little help to get going is what is
needed. By request, prepared maris are offered through Temari Extras to
give you a little boost if needed. This is no substitute for learninig
to accomplish these
steps yourself,
but many people have found it helpful to be able hold and see maris at
these steps, which then spurs them on with renewed understanding and
encouragement.
These prepped mari also are
available on a limited basis to those who might be physically
challenged, and wrapping a mari is truly a struggle or out of
reach. By far of course, the most fun in making a Temari is in
stitching, and these prepped maris will allow you to enjoy that aspect
of Temari making while you continue to learn to prep and mark your own.
Please note - these are offered as a support to help new folks get
going and learn - it's not designed to be a substitute for you learning
to make your own as you progress. Teachers may inquire for
class needs.
The maris will vary from
2 3/4
to 3 1/4 inches. Mari core material may vary, usually being styrofoam
or
yarn. If you need a size or marking not specified here, drop me a note
and we'll work something out.
Color options: black, white, ecru, standard basic colors,
standard pastels. Inquire for special requests.
Marking thread options: gold or silver.

Shipping and handling: $3.50 base rate plus $1.00 per additional item for single maris; $4.50 for the fourpack of wrapped maris.
